Devenez un locavore d’entreprise

Un locavore est quelqu’un qui s’engage à ne consommer que de la nourriture produite dans un rayon de 100 à 200 km autour de son domicile. Les enjeux sont à la fois d’y trouver un meilleur goût, d’être moins énergétivore et de mieux vivre avec son environnement. Le succès des collectifs locaux autour d’agriculteurs témoigne de la demande. Cette démarche est-elle transposable en entreprise ? Autrement dit, peut-on sortir de son service, unité, équipe…pour tisser des liens de proximité et se simplifier la vie au quotidien ? Les gains à en attendre : moins de mail et plus de convivialité, des circuits plus courts et une meilleure ambiance…

Les expériences (parfois à grande échelle) d’entreprise le prouvent : l’unité de travail optimale est de 100 à 150 personnes. Lorsque votre unité a cette taille, tout le monde se connaît et les relations au quotidien sont simplifiées. Cette unité peut inclure des services très variés, tant opérationnels que fonctionnels et travailler en bonne entente avec d’autres entités. Chimère ? Des entreprises comme Gore (le producteur, entre autres du Goretex, le tissu respirant) le pratiquent déjà et ce avec succès.

Oui, mais pourquoi toutes ne le font pas ? Parce que cela va à l’encontre des symboles du pouvoir. C’est plus impressionnant et exaltant de diriger des entités de quelques milliers de personne (cf. les grands sièges sociaux sous forme de tour), avec sa hiérarchie, ses symboles du pouvoir (en fonction de l’étage et de l’épaisseur de la moquette) et les jeux de pouvoir et d’influence. L’esprit de Versailles et du Roi Soleil n’est pas mort, loin de là.

Oui, mais pourquoi votre entourage ne le fait pas ? Facilité, lâcheté, ignorance… toutes les raisons sont bonnes. Chacun joue son jeu. Le résultat (selon un sondage de l’APEC, les Echos du 24/10) est que seuls 22% trouvent que leur investissement dans le travail porte ses fruits, 37% y voient un jeu à somme nulle et 41% s’y voient perdants.

Oui, mais pourquoi vous ne le faites pas à votre échelle ? Après tout, les premières organisations de regroupement autour d’agriculteurs locaux, voire bio, ont été le fait d’individus isolés. Comment commencer ? Listez vos contacts réguliers (vos collègues, collaborateurs, clients et fournisseurs internes, fonctions supports…) et…faites le premier pas. Allez vers eux et favorisez les relations. Allez lentement, limitez les mails et parlez-leur. Donnez envie de bâtir des relations sur une autre base.

Naïveté ? Anti-économique ? Puéril ? C’est ce que disaient justement les détracteurs des premiers mouvements de locavores. A vous d’essayer.
